My Thoughts on the New Midjourney Alpha Browser Version: Exclusive Access for Top Creators
MJ says: I am an experienced user!
Wow in less than a year I have created over 1000 images so I have access to the new version from the browser. I had gotten used to discord by now, although I was already familiar with the web page as an archive. Convenient to have everything downloadable in the same place.!It has been a great journey! The greatest thing since I started designing for the web!
The playground an art director has dreamed of for years! Thank you Midjourney for making this dream come true.

1)New promt bar
You enter the same blank page with all the examples of photos made by others as inspiration. The real difference is that the search bar where you can type in the prompt is now working!
Welcome to Midjourney web creationalpha! Recites the prompt in red. Reserved for those who have produced more than 1000 images with MJ.
By clicking on the + in the bar you can upload reference images. In fact, the logo on the left has the word alpha written in red marker. There is also another small search bar where you can search for prompts.
2)The top-level menu on the right consists of 6 items:
EXPLORE
CREATE
ARCHIVE
RATE IMAGES
RATE IDEAS
NEWS
CREATE
You can see the last 12 images you created always under the search bar. Each of these has the prompt used highlighted on the left. If you click on the images there are 2 buttons to edit the image: vary a lot, vary a little.

5) I miss my private lab in Discord!!!
In general it is interesting to be able to use midjourney from the browser directly.
Although I find it a little strange to land on the homepage and see so many other people's images, sure it is inspiring but also a little confusing. The nice thing about discord is having your own server where you feel comfortable in "your own private lab."
It's certainly good to have all the controls in a push-button mode but I think it's more usable to have them all under the image. Not having to go to the bottom right and search.
At least in the destop version, on the mobile there is a footer with all the buttons with the main actions
I got used to the Discord interface, of my private server, it would be nice to have all the image edit buttons under the image you want to edit. Perhaps more intuitive.
I really appreciate the effort to make the interface usable for everyone. The general archive of images made is very useful but couldn't you again have a little more personal space to work in? Midjourney is still a magical tool!
What do you guys think?
